On the west side of the island are situated the largest arable lands of the island, i.e. the Ano and Kato Kampos. The plain of Kampos is located near Chora. There are several hotels and apartment complexes in the area. The proximity of Kampos with Chora, the capital, make it ideal for accommodation, as it combines picturesque setting and tranquility with cosmopolitan life and modern amenities.
